ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ Enters Agreement to Acquire Property Management System Cenium

By acquiring Cenium, the ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ Hospitality Cloud aims to implement ÐßÐßÊÓÆµâ€™ technology across the full Nordic Choice Hotels portfolio of 200+ full-service hotels

[Amsterdam & Oslo – 2 February 2022] ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ, a leading cloud-based property management system (PMS), has announced the intention to acquire , a hospitality technology company owned by . The acquisition will reinforce ÐßÐßÊÓÆµâ€™ growth across Northern Europe, with the ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ Hospitality Cloud now being rolled out across the entire Nordic Choice Hotels portfolio of 200+ properties. Current Cenium customers can also migrate to ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ.

The acquisition includes the products (Cenium 6, Cenium Core and Cenium Commerce) as well as the Cenium team who have deep-rooted expertise in hospitality, and more specifically the Nordic region. This knowledge will demonstrably impact the growth of ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ in the region as the company continues to make the ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ Hospitality Cloud one of the fastest-growing hospitality technology companies. Additionally, Cenium capabilities will be merged with the existing ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ product portfolio to create one of the most powerful property management systems on the market catering to the Enterprise segment.

As part of the acquisition, aims to implement ÐßÐßÊÓÆµâ€™ technology across the full Nordic Choice Hotels portfolio of 200+ estates. This will help to modernize and transform the experience for more than 15,000 Nordic Choice staff and millions of their guests. The partnership will enable Nordic Choice to leverage the ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ Hospitality Cloud in their Comfort Hotels®, Quality Hotelâ„¢, Clarion Hotel®, and Clarion Collection® Hotel, plus any of the 40 stand-alone hotels in their portfolio across Scandinavia and the Baltics.

The Nordic Choice Group has selected the full range of features in the ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ Hospitality Cloud including ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ Operations, ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ guest experience software, ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ Payments, and ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ Open API. 

 

Cenium is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and the acquisition is expected to close by March 2022. This is the fourth PMS that ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ has acquired in the last two years, with , , and already successfully joining the ÐßÐßÊÓÆµ Hospitality Cloud.
